This is a lead-free 1/2″ x 3/4″ PEX-reducing SharkBite coupler.
The SharkBite PEX Barb Reducing Coupling is made of lead-free DZR brass and is an easy-to-install, low-cost solution to connect to PEX tubing. These fittings allow you to reduce pipe size with one fitting. The SharkBite PEX Barb fittings are compatible with potable water distribution and hydronic heating applications. These fittings can be used in both a stainless steel clamp system or a copper crimp ring system (each sold separately).
