Keep track of your filter life with a flow meter. This easy-to-install flow meter counts down from a maximum of 3000 gallons to 0 and then closes the line. Simply set the meter at the capacity of your filter, and let it go. When the water stops flowing, it's time to change the filter.
These unique, patented meter valves provide automatic shut off of a potable water system for filter replacement after a pre-determined quantity of water has been filtered.

Note: Some filters should be changed periodically regardless of the amount of water that has passed through... i.e., never let your filter go 3+ years without replacing it. Some filters should be changed more frequently.
