This self piercing valve can draw a water supply from Copper or CPVC piping. This type of self piercing valve will connect to pipe sizes up to 3/4" and as small as 3/8".
These valves are a code violation in some areas and over time they can develope leaks when you use it to shut the water off. We always recommend using a John Guest shut-off valve (linked below) with the self piercing valve. This way the self piercing valve does not have to be used to shut the water off. This recommendation will insure that you receive many years of reliable service from your system.
Supplies ¼" Tube (Comp.), Fits Pipe 3/8" to 3/4"
Consider using a Faucet Adaptor or an Angle Stop Adaptor as an alternative supply connection.
