Standard 5 Micron spun polypropylene sediment filter cartridge used in many applications for removal of dirt, rust & sediment.

Commonly used as a Whole House sediment filtration cartridge. Cartridge will often last 3 months in this application but service life is based on your local water conditions and usage.

Also commonly used as a Reverse Osmosis sediment prefilter (1st Stage). In this application the cartridge will usually last for 1 year.
