5 - 7 GPM Non-Backwashing Whole House Carbon Filter with 1" Ports

This medium size carbon filter is recommended to provide whole house filtration of chlorine, taste & odor, chemical contaminants as well as dirt and sediments.

FT-1.5-C40 has a peak flow rate of up to 5 GPM and a service flow up to 7 GPM. It will not reduce water flow in a home with 2-3 bathrooms with standard showers. The FM-BB-10-5 sediment prefilter and FM-BB-10-1 sediment postfilter should be replaced every 6 months in most cases. The carbon bed inside the tank should be replaced every 2-3 years.
