This small carbon filter is recommended to provide whole house filtration of chlorine, taste and odor as well as dirt and sediments.

FT-1-C40-10C has a peak flow rate of up to 3-4 GPM. It will not reduce water flow in a home with up to 2 bathrooms with standard showers. The FM-5-10 sediment prefilter and FM-1-10 sediment postfilter should be replaced every 6 months in most cases. The carbon bed inside the tank should be replaced every 2-3 years.
